Ōmiya-ku, Saitama

A mere 10-minute travel away from my sister's home via shinkansen is the Omiya. If you wanted to get away from the loud city of tokyo, Omiya could be the best choice. It has so many malls, restaurants, bars like what you've usually seen in Tokyo yet the town feels much farther away from its hustle and bustle and a little bit quieter compare to the big city.

We walked all day long. explore all the streets and establishments within the vicinity of omiya. I did as much picture taking as my heart desired to. There are also lots of hotels for travelers, most of it are ideal base for seeing the sights - so there are no reasons not to love it.

One of the eye-catching features of Omiya includes food stalls, shopping malls, and restaurants. Almost all of items are available and lining on the streets. each and everyone has different kinds of style or design to attract buyers.

With regards to foods and restaurants - i would say you get more than what you asked for. There's a fair range of japanese and western dishes to choose from. and ofcourse my only option was the japanese cuisine. ramen gyoza gohan etc etc etc.

i wont be going too specific, all i wanted to say is - the Omiya, is a place where you can wander around. no need to rent for a car or anything. just walk freely and let your feet lead you ♥
