Potipot Island

I personally called this island, a "pot-pot" island. It is located in candelaria, zambales. it is an off shore island, 7-10 mins away from our resort in Beach House ni Dok and if you were to ask, how long it cud take from manila to our resort, rarrr deym 5hrs! Boooooo!

before hand: this trip was our 2011 summer team outing. we planned this trip ahead of time. all of the preparations we had went tru voting. majoritry wins rule kami as always. we had decided the ff: Beach House ni Dok (Main House) for 6k, Potipot Island (100/pax fee exclusive of cottage), ready meals (3meals P550/pax), rent a van (P7,500 exclusive of TF and gas). we contributed P2,200 each. budget for the entire stay including drinks, chips, and games paraphernalia.

we are all EXCITED! Aww. 

May 28, Saturday morning when we arrived at the resort, BH ni dok. ate our breakfast and reload ourselves for we are about to leave the mainland and hit the isolate island of potipot. syempre excited nnmn kami cause we are expecting alot for this island - white sand, clean clear and alluring seawater (in our mind). our itinerary is to stay in the island whole day. that's our main-course kumbaga. 

here what we saw upon exploring the island: 

so many seaweeds. can't barely swim! so many jellyfish/dikya within the vicinity (i think i was blessed to saw one, haha, atlis i had my chance to avoid the power of the sting), steep shore, so prone to accident and the sands are not WHITE! rumors..hmp! more of - dirty cream, basta it's not the way we expected. yet we have no choice but to enjoy and make our trip an extraordinary. 

so instead of embracing our disappointments to this pot-pot island, we played competitively in the series of games prepared by chao. taking advantage of its forest like ground, that's the only pro i saw. spacious it is!  we are divided in 3 groups. errol's team, arjay's team and russel's team. (i belong to arjay's)

Oooops forgot to mention, beach house ni dok main house is so OVERRATED! DUH!! 

to the admin, please prepare foods that make your customer happy and contented, and justify the P550 worth of foods! nemen!

but to sum-it-all-up we do enjoy our summer trip less island ambiance and jelly attack.
